Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Inductees Announced - KLAS-TV

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame will induct four new members in 2012. This year's ceremony will help kick off the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open this fall.

Two of the four inductees are former UNLV Rebels who now play on the PGA Tour. Charley Hoffman is a two-time winner on the tour. He won the 1998 title while playing for UNLV.

Ryan Moore will also be going into the hall. The former Rebel won the 2004 NCAA Individual Title and is also a winner on the PGA tour.

In addition to the two PGA professionals, Seth McCoy will be inducted. He was a long-time superintendent of the Las Vegas Municipal Golf Course. He also helped redesign that course.

Finally, the Valley View Golf Club will be inducted. The club was organized in 1958 as a way for blacks to unite in meaningful competition. Six decades later, the group remains active.
