Former Union defenseman Nolan Julseth-White has signed a contract with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers, it was announced Wednesday.
Julseth-White was the Dutchmen's captain last season, leading them to their second straight ECAC Hockey regular-season title, first ECACH tournament championship, the NCAA Hockey tournament East Regional title and a berth in the Frozen Four.
"Nolan was the captain at Union, and besides being a tremendous leader, he also brought a very good presence to the back end," Wranglers coach and general manager Ryan Mougenel said in statement. "Nolan is on the AHL radar, and will start his career with us due to the uncertainty of the NHL lockout. HeĆ¢s one of those special players whose leadership and character are well documented."
White has 18 assists in 100 career games.
