8 News NOWÂ has an immediate opening a Master Control Operator.
Must be willing to train and become proficient in the operation of all 8 News NOW Master Control equipment including automation equipment, servers, videotape machines, satellite receivers, transcoders, and remote transmitter operation. Must be able to work well and enjoy a high-pressure environment, have good communication skills, and maintain focus in a fast, multitasking environment. A minimum of 2 years television experience is required. Must be dependable and have credible references. Must be willing to work additional hours and holidays as needed. Final job candidates must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.
