The 2011/12 season was marked by numerous records and a trip to the Kelly Cup Finals for the Las Vegas Wranglers.
However, they say the biggest assist happens off the ice and the Wranglers came through in that regard as well, raising nearly $400,000 for various charities.
Some of the fundraising events included the auctioning off of specialty jerseys, a head-shaving session to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and a partnership with NV Energy to donate money to a non-profit for each goal scored at home.
The team also worked with Cell Phones for Soldiers, collecting 226 phones to recycle into calling cards for troops overseas.
