Salt Lake Bees Crush Las Vegas 51s 10-2 - KLAS-TV

SALT LAKE CITY â€" The Salt Lake Bees rebounded from Thursday's loss to the Las Vegas 51s â€" crushing Las Vegas 10-2 Friday night.

The Bees rocked 51s starting pitcher Tim Redding for six runs in the first four innings, including two RBIs from Salt Lake third baseman Alexi Amarista.

Salt Lake added three more runs in the fifth inning, including a two-RBI double by Mike Trout.

Las Vegas finally got on the board in the top of the seventh inning when David Cooper hit a sacrifice grounder, scoring Anthony Gose. Yan Gomes added an RBI double, but the two runs proved to be too little, too late for the 51s.

Redding drops to 0-2 on the season. Salt Lake pitcher Garrett Richards, who struck out 8 batters, improves to 3-0.
