Las Vegas 51s Rout Nashville Sounds 10-3 - KLAS-TV

LAS VEGAS â€" A five-run seventh inning helped the Las Vegas 51s rout the Nashville Sounds 10-3 Tuesday night.

The 51s jumped ahead in the second inning on an RBI-single by Moises Sierra. Adam Lind and Sierra also scored on force-out grounders later in the inning.

Nashville prevented the shutout by adding two runs in the third inning on a two-RBI double by Brooks Conrad. The 51s took a 5-2 lead in the fifth inning on an RBI double by Anthony Gose and a sacrifice fly by David Cooper.

Las Vegas blew the game open in the seventh inning, when Mike McCoy and Jonathan Diaz scored on a throwing error by Nashville shortstop Eric Farris. Adam Lind extended the lead with an RBI-single to center field. A bases loaded walk to Sierra and a sacrifice fly by Ricardo Nanita finished the five-run inning.

Las Vegas starter Jesse Chavez picked up his sixth win of the season. Nashville starter Wily Peralta drops to 1-5.
