Las Vegas 51s Lose to Fresno Grizzlies 9-3 - KLAS-TV

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas 51s gave up nine runs and 14 hits in a 9-3 loss to the Fresno Grizzlies Monday night. It marks the 51s' third loss of the season.

Las Vegas jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Travis Snider doubled on a line drive, driving in Anthony Gose and Adeiny Hechavarria.

Fresno tied the game in the top of the fourth inning. Roger Kieschnick first scored on a force out. Charlie Culberson then scored on a sacrifice fly by Nick Noonan.

The Grizzlies took the lead with a five-run inning in the top of the fifth that included a grand slam by Joaquin Arias. Arias and Justin Christian later hit home runs in the top of the eighth inning to give Fresno a 9-2 lead.

Las Vegas added a run in the bottom of the ninth inning when Moises Sierra homered to left center field.

Yusmeiro Petit earned the win. Scott Richmond was credited for the loss.
