Bees hope to stay hot on Thursday

First Published 1 hour ago ⢠Updated 1 hour agoTemperatures in Salt Lake City have been rather cool this week, but the Salt Lake Bees have been quite hot.
The Bees took a three-game winning streak into Wednesday nightâs contest at Spring Mobile Ballpark against the Las Vegas 51s, and will look to continue their strong play again Thursday when they play host to the 51s at 6:30 p.m. at home.
Thursdayâs game might mark one of the last chance Utah baseball fans have to see one of the top minor-league prospects in all of professional baseball, Bees centerfielder Mike Trout.
The highly touted Trout went 1-for-4 on Tuesday night in the Beesâ 3-2 win over Las Vegas, but many believe he could get called up to Salt Lakeâs major-league affiliate, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, before the end of the month.
The Bees also play host to Las Vegas on Friday at 6:30 p.m. before heading out on a four-game road trip to Tucson.
