51s Lose Second Straight Game to Sky Sox - KLAS-TV

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas 51s dropped their second straight game to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Tuesday night, losing 11-6.

Colorado Springs jumped ahead early when Jordan Pacheco homered off 51s starter Scott Richmond in the first inning. Colorado added three runs in the second inning as a result of RBI hits by Tommy Field, Chad Tracy and DJ LeMahieu. The Sky Sox added two more runs in the third inning.

Las Vegas got on the board in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Anthony Gose. The 51s tried to rally two innings later, scoring four runs in the seventh inning. Gose hit a triple, scoring Chris Woodward. Adeiny Hechavarria added an RBI-double, and David Cooper hit a sacrifice grounder. But, the 51s came up short.

Richmond falls to 1-2 on the season. Colorado starter Rob Scahill is credited with the win.
