Jerry Evans Jr. scored 19 points to lead host Nevada over San Jose State 81-57 Thursday night.
Deonte Burton added 14 points for the Wolf Pack (13-3 overall, 3-0 Western Athletic Conference), who posted their first 10-game winning streak in five years.
James Kinney had 16 points and Stephon Smith added 14 for the Spartans (6-10, 2-2).
The Wolf Pack hit a school-record 16 3-pointers, including five from Evans.
USF 104, Portland 70: Rashad Green scored 19 points, including 17 in the first half when he made all seven of his field goal attempts, leading host USF (11-8, 1-4 West Coast Conference) to a drubbing of Portland (5-12, 2-2). The Dons shot 67.2 percent (39 of 58) from the field.
Duke 61, Virginia 58: Mason Plumlee scored 12 points and host No. 8 Duke (14-2, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) held on to beat No. 16 Virginia (14-2, 1-1) to snap the Cavaliers' 12-game winning streak.
Minnesota 77, Indiana 74: Austin Hollins scored a career-high 18 points to help visiting Minnesota (13-5, 1-4) beat No. 7 Indiana (15-2, 3-2). Indiana's Christian Watford missed a 3-pointer in the closing seconds.
Arizona 81, Oregon State 73: Kyle Fogg had 23 points and scored on a hard drive in overtime that nearly set off a brawl, lifting host Arizona (12-5, 3-1 Pac-12) over Oregon State (11-6, 1-4).
Fogg ran into Oregon State's Jared Cunningham while celebrating the basket, setting off a
near melee that had players from both teams pushing each other and Wildcats coach Sean Miller shoving his players back to the bench. Arizona's Kyryl Natyazhko and Oregon State's Joe Burton were ejected for leaving the bench. Fogg fouled out after being hit with a technical foul and Cunningham was also gone after getting personal and technical fouls.Women
Stanford 62, Utah 43: Nneka Ogwumike had 18 points and 13 rebounds to help No. 4 Stanford (14-1, 5-0) pull away from host Utah (8-7, 1-3) for the Cardinal's school-record 62nd straight win against a Pac-12 opponent.
Cal 68, Colorado 55: Layshia Clarendon scored 18 points, Gennifer Brandon added 17, and visiting Cal (12-5, 3-2 Pac-12) closed the game on a 17-0 run to beat Colorado (13-2, 2-2). The Bears, who trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half, outscored the Buffaloes 38-18 after intermission, with Clarendon getting 12 of the 38 points.
Saint Mary's 75, Portland 71: Jasmine Smith, Jackie Nared and Alex Carbonel combined for 50 points as visiting Saint Mary's 13-5, 4-1 WCC) beat Portland (7-12, 0-5).
Gonzaga 87, USF 52: Kayla Standish scored 20 points, including the first 10 of the game, and No. 23 Gonzaga (15-2, 4-0) rolled over visiting USF (3-15, 1-4) for the Bulldogs' 10th straight win and their 34th consecutive WCC victory. Rheina Ale had 16 points and Taj Winston 14 for the Dons.
Kentucky 61, Tennessee 60: A'dia Mathies drove the lane and scored in traffic with 4.2 seconds left to finish with a career-high 34 points and No. 9 Kentucky (15-2, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) beat No. 6 Tennessee (12-4, 3-1) in Lexington to snap the Lady Vols' 36-game SEC winning streak.
