Pregame

Zephyrs right-hander Alex Sanabia (3-1, 2.17 earned run average) will pitch against Las Vegas right-hander Jesse Chavez (4-1, 3.15).

Sanabia pitched eight innings, allowing two hits and one run, in a 1-0, complete-game loss at Iowa on Monday.

Chavez didn't get a decision, allowing five runs and five hits in six innings, in Las Vegas' 7-6 win against Salt Lake on Monday. He won his previous three decisions, allowing two earned runs in 18 innings.

The Zephyrs activated outfielder Scott Cousins, who had a sprained wrist, from the disabled list. Catcher Jake Jefferies was sent to Double-A Jacksonville.

Chris Aguila, who is in the Zephyrs’ lineup at designated hitter Saturday, is batting .382 in his last 12 games (13-for-34).

UP NEXT: Zephyrs left-hander Brad Hand (2-2, 3.58) will pitch against Las Vegas left-hander Aaron Laffey (1-4, 5.63) in a game starting at 2 p.m. Sunday.
