LAS VEGAS â€" Gov. Brian Sandoval will host a barbeque dinner for the UNLV Rebels after the men's basketball team won its seventh straight game last week.
Sandoval is scheduled to host the fundraiser, along with UNLV President Neal Smatresk, on Jan. 19.
Tickets to the barbeque at UNLV's Cox Pavilion cost $100 per person. The deadline to buy tickets is Thursday.
The proceeds will go toward the Rebel Athletic Fund.
UNLV won its seventh straight game over Cal State Bakersfield last week.
Sandoval graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno.
