Sep 17, 2012 - The Air Force Falcons (1-1) head on the road in Week 4, as they take on the UNLV Rebels (0-3) at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday night.

The Falcons are coming off of a bye week, and most recently lost to the Michigan Wolverines in Week 2. Air Force hung with Michigan, but eventually lost 31-25 to the then-19th ranked Wolverines.

Air Force will certainly look to run the ball at will, as they have in their first two games. The Falcons currently boast the nation's top rushing offense, averaging 387 yards per game on the ground. Senior running back Cody Getz leads Air Force with 348 rushing yards on just 43 carries -- good for an 8.1 yards per carry average.

The Rebels, meanwhile, are still looking for their first win of the 2012 season. If UNLV is going to defeat Air Force, they'll certainly need to tidy up their defense, as the Rebels are 80th in the country, allowing 27.3 points per game to opposing offenses.

Air Force is favored in the game by 12 points, and the over under has not been set yet.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 22. Televised coverage can be found on Altitude.

  1. The Huskers have improved a lot during the few last games and adding these players to the team will improve the overall performance hopefully.
