NBA Summer League Snubs Adam Morrison, Names Josh Selby And Damian ... - SB Nation

LAS VEGAS -- Sin City hosted ten days of NBA Summer League action and, on Sunday afternoon, the organizers decided to wrap everything up with a Summer League All-Star team. That All-Star team didn't include Adam Morrison, but it did give Co-MVP honors to Josh Selby and Damian Lillard.

It's peculiar that Morrison wasn't named to the team after a standout week -- especially after garnering MVP chants during his final game on Sunday -- but Selby and Lillard are both worthy of the honor of being named the Most Valuable Player(s).

Selby had already wrapped up co-MVP honors prior to his final game of the week thanks to lighting it up from behind the three-point line. Through four games, the second-year guard had nailed 24 of his 34 attempts from beyond the arc (70.6 percent) while averaging 27.5 points and 2.5 steals prior to the final game of the Summer.

Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers first round pick, showed that his standout career at Weber State might translate better than most thought it might to the next level. The quick-footed guard showed quite a bit of athleticism as he averaged 26.5 points, 5.3 assists and four rebounds through four games before sitting out the final game.

The remainder of the Summer League All-Stars according to the league are as follows:
