Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Veteran pitcher Jamie Moyer is expected to join the Las Vegas 51s this week after signing a Minor League contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.
MLB.com reports that Moyer is expected to join the starting rotation but is not on a guaranteed deal.
Moyer, 49, is the oldest pitcher in baseball and has spent parts of 25 seasons in Major League Baseball.
He began the season with the Colorado Rockies and was traded to the Baltimore Orioles before inking a deal with the Blue Jays.
No word yet on when Moyer is expected to make his first pitching appearance for the 51s.Â
